Gauging and Calibration of Measurement Equipment

Over the years, Avizo has developed various methods which make it possible to verify the accuracy of most flow measurement systems, whether on an open pipe (Parshall Canal, trapezoidal canal, triangular spillway, etc.) or on closed pipe (electromagnetic flow meter, turbidity meter, orifice plate, etc.). Thanks to its experienced staff, its rigorous protocols and its state-of-the-art devices, Avizo can offer, for each situation, simple and affordable methods, which meet regulatory requirements of the Cahier 7 — Méthode de mesure de débit du Guide d’échantillonnage à des fins d’analyse environnementale du ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP).

Avizo has a unique volumetric test bench in Quebec which is calibrated by an ISO 17025 certified laboratory. This ensures traceability towards international standards. This test bench allows our specialists to check our equipment as well as your devices to ensure compliance with the manufacturer’s parameters and specifications.

Pumping station verification allows you to know the actual pumping capacity of the pumps (volumetric tests). It provides a more reliable compilation of discharged water volumes when obtained with a running timer and can help detect and correct wear and other pump problems more quickly.

The technicians in our workshop carry out the repair and maintenance of your environmental measuring instruments of all brands:

Depending on your needs, we will travel to maintain and repair your equipment directly on site or to collect the equipment, repair it in the workshop and install it again. You also have the possibility of sending the equipment directly to our workshop. We also offer a variety of rental equipment.
