It is with great enthusiasm that Avizo announces Philippe Barcelo appointed as Head of Municipal and Transportation Engineering. With his extensive experience and qualifications, Mr. Barcelo joins a dynamic team to contribute to the execution of innovative and ambitious projects for all our clients.

Mr. Barcelo holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, as well as an MBA from Concordia University. He has over 18 years of experience in urban infrastructure, stormwater management, and multidisciplinary project management.

Over the course of his career, he has worked on a wide range of urban infrastructure projects across Québec, Ontario, and Newfoundland and Labrador. His achievements include projects involving the rehabilitation of underground and road infrastructures, network extensions, parks, stormwater management systems, and initiatives in the industrial, petroleum, and northern engineering sectors.

Mr. Barcelo also brings significant experience in managing multidisciplinary projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
