Midi Génie: Promoting and Diversifying Continuing Education

At Avizo, we value continuing education through our Midi Génie sessions! For the past two years, all staff members have been invited to participate in Midi Génie, which takes place two to three times a month from October to April.

These sessions are a great opportunity to deepen our knowledge. For our engineers, it’s an excellent way to expand professional development hours for the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). We invite our partners and suppliers to present their products and services related to civil or environmental engineering.

It also represents a valuable occasion for staff to further explore our internal services. For example, this year, some team members presented on sludge measurement services, hydraulic modeling, shoreline erosion, and authorization requests to the MELCCFP. That’s why we offer the option to attend these sessions in person—enjoying good company and a nice meal—or remotely via Teams, or even by watching the replay!
